Matson and Podsmead Supplementary Planning Documents Consultation

The City Council is consulting on Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) for Matson and Podsmead. These documents set out important planning considerations for how any regeneration in these areas should take place in the future.

The full SPDs are available to download below. In addition, short leaflets have been prepared that provide an overview of the main elements of the SPDs, as well as 'frequently asked questions'.

In addition, hard copies of the documentation have been made available at the following locations:

• Gloucester City Council reception: Herbert Warehouse, The Docks, Gloucester, GL1 2EQ.
• Matson Library: Winsley Road, Matson, Gloucester, GL4 6NG.
• Redwell Centre: Redwell Road, Matson, Gloucester, GL4 6JG.
• The Hub: 15a Scott Avenue, Podsmead, Gloucester, GL2 5BD.

The consultation lasts for six weeks between Monday 24^th June and Monday 5^th August 2019. Responses must be received no late than 6pm on this day

Events

To support the consultation, we are holding four public events. These are: 

• Moat primary school Fayre Friday 12^th July 3pm - 5 pm

• Redwell Centre Monday 22^nd July 3pm - 7 pm

• Scott Avenue open space Thursday 18^th July 4.30pm - 7pm

• Podsmead Big Local Friday 26^th July 1pm - 5 pm

What if I can’t make the event?

You can still comment at any point before 6pm on Monday 5^th August. All of the materials shown at the event will also be online and left within the community. If you would like to arrange your own event within the community, with your community group, friends and neighbours, we will do our best to come along.
